KIP-17: T2CR Primary Document Proposal B

Firstly, I appreciate the change log. This make it much easier to discuss your proposal.

I think you’re interpreting the spelling policy wrong. It has nothing to do with naming, that’s why it explicitly mentions “spelling wise”. See also: Proposal Name B (Draft).

This seems way to vague for a policy. How does one define a tie? Also, what are official sources? Coinmarketcap, etherscan (indirectly the contract is deployed by project owners)? I think this will cause too much uncertainty and spark more discussions which we are trying to prevent.

This rule seems way more complicated. Regardless I don’t see the logic of allowing other suffixes while we want to avoid “token” and “coin”. An example was the “Loopring v2” case. Should it have been rejected? I’d say yes, but that’s my opinion. Anyway I think we want to avoid having versioning and other random suffixes appended to the names in the TCR. To me this only seems to complicate things.

This seems like a good addition.

Agreed.

Agreed.

Rephrasing seems fine. Doesn’t seem much clearer in my opinion.
